August 23 Ground Breaking Cermony

Hello everyone,
One our guest speakers at yesterday’s Caldwell Abbay Hall meeting was Will Pinkston.  Will is our school board representative for our district, District 7.  One of the items he discussed is the exciting $7 million dollar renovation of Norman Binkley Elementary School.  Will is inviting everyone from the neighborhood to the ground breaking ceremony.  Please see his invitation below.

It was a pleasure participating in the Caldwell-Abbay Hall Neighborhood Association meeting on July 20. As I mentioned at the meeting, Metro Nashville Public Schools will hold a groundbreaking ceremony on Friday, August 23, at 11a to celebrate the $7 million renovation and expansion of Norman Binkley Elementary School. All neighbors are invited to attend this special event, which will be headlined by Mayor Karl Dean, Councilman Chris Harmon, and the leadership of MNPS, including Dr. Jesse Register and me. I’m proud to represent South Nashville on the School Board, and excited that we’re able to move forward with this very important capital project. I look forward to future neighborhood association meetings, and appreciate everyone’s hard work and commitment to strong neighborhoods and great public schools.
Best,

WILL PINKSTON
