The Tennessean reports that our neighborhood Kroger will be closing soon.

Kroger to close Elysian Fields store

Kroger said Friday it will close its store at 3955 Nolensville Pike within the next 60 days.

The move affects 97 employees, all of whom will be offered positions at other supermarkets the chain operates.

Officials said the Elysian Fields location had lost more than $1 million over the past two years and wasn’t pulling its financial weight.
